We are a Church focused on building relationships, teaching the Bible as the Word of God, and serving the community. Our intention is to be a multigenerational church where people experience genuine hospitality. It's our hope that each person would be developed into a follower of Jesus Christ. As followers of Jesus, we seek to serve our community, care for one another, gather for worship, and have our lives transformed by the Holy Spirit.

As if you needed another reason to set your alarm clocks early on Wednesday. The men are being introduced to frozen fruit cups!! Men, be at KOG at 6:30 a.m. for waffles and frozen fruit. #MensBreakfast
God intended for a heavenly king to rule over Israel, but the Israelites did not trust Gods plan and wanted a king like the nations around them. God gave them a king, but Saul did not obey God. God had a plan to send His Son, Jesus. King Jesus trusted and obeyed God perfectly and died so sinners could be forgiven and accepted.
"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
Oftentimes we see prayer as a last resort as we are searching for lost keys, taking a test or sitting in the emergency. Sometimes we see prayer as a mandated regulation when we sit down for supper. Prayer is more than a last resort and it's not a boring ritual. Join us tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. for worship as we continue to learn about prayer and engage in conversation with our Creator.
I was reminded in Acts 16, the conversion of Lydia, where the Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by the apostle Paul. What a great prayer; Lord open the heart of "name" to believe the gospel.
